Klecko is an award-winning poet and the author of seven books.
He has been featured in the New York Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, St. Paul Pioneer Press and Next Avenue, a digital publication of PBS.

Klecko’s latest book is an account of the 100 hours he spent, over nearly a year, with one painting – Christus Consolator (1851) by Dutch-French painter Ary Scheffer – in Gallery 357 at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
